These look wonderful!! We're concentrating on birds right now, too.
Oh I DO love a theme! I posted a great bird website earlier this week on my blog you might find helpful. It was in this post: http://buffaloesandbutterflywings.blogspot.com/2009/04/slow-and-steady.html
And I just looked back to your post from last week's book basket... it was YOU who suggested The Boxcar Children (I had forgotten where I saw it). We are loving it - thanks!
Like the theme idea - maybe I can get myself organized enough to do that for our library trips this summer!
How cool! We are loving birds right now with a nest even in our bbq grill of starlings. :D
A theme is great. That really speaks to the organizer in me. We always have a hodge podge along with the school books. Right now we are talking about Plymouth Plantation and the pilgrims. Makes me hungry for Thanksgiving.
